Clipper Audio System Failure

Hey guys, my 2000 Nissan Clipper with a gasoline engine has a busted audio system. There's absolutely no sound coming out, and I'm stumped. Could it be the bass speaker giving out?

I had a similar issue with my Clipper. No audio output at all? Did you check the fuses? Could also be a loose connection behind the head unit.

Fuses are good, as far as I can tell. I've jiggled some wires, but no luck. Is it possible the whole head unit is dead? I'm not getting any sound distortion, just nothing.

Could be the head unit, but more likely, it's a deeper electrical issue. I'd take it to a workshop; diagnosing audio problems can be a pain without the right tools.

Thanks! It turned out to be what you suspected. I took it to the shop, and the bass speaker was indeed defective. Cost me 280€ to fix, but at least I have music again.
