CMAX Height Control Issue

I'm having trouble with the height control on my 2018 Ford CMAX gasoline engine. I'm getting a warning light, the low beams are shining wrong, the vehicle height is uneven, I'm seeing error codes, and the ride is bumpy. I suspect a defective control rod on the leveling sensor. Has anyone else seen this?

I've seen similar issues on CMAX models. The leveling sensor can cause weird stuff. I had a similar experience, though the symptoms weren't exactly the same. Did you check the control module for any stored codes?

Yes, there are error codes stored, pointing to a ride height problem. Could you tell me more about your experience? Was it definitely the leveling sensor, and what did the repair involve?

While my symptoms weren't exactly the same, it sounds like the leveling sensor. My ride was awful, and the headlights were all over the place. I had to take it to a workshop. They said it was the leveling sensor. Given your symptoms and error codes, I'd suggest doing the same.

Thanks for the advice. It was the control rod on the leveling sensor. Replacing it fixed it. The repair cost 110€.
