Thanks! When you had these issues, were the symptoms intermittent, or were they consistent? And did you also have an error code stored?

Yep, error code was there alright, wouldn't go away! Symptoms were on and off at first, then pretty constant. Honestly, after checking the fluid and connections myself, I just took it to the workshop. Best bet, saves a load of hassle.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my CMAX. Vibrating steering wheel, like driving through jelly, and then the steering just got super heavy. Check the connections like you said, could be something simple. Is the hydraulic fluid level okay? That's the first thing they asked me...
