CMAX Washer Fluid Sensor Issue

I did have a look at the float; it seemed to be moving freely, but I didn't take it out completely. Should I try removing it and cleaning it? And no, nothing happens when I try to use the washers. No sound from the pump, no fluid coming out, just the warning light on the dash. Is there anything I should inspect or do I need to go to a workshop?

Well, if the float seems okay and the pump isn't making any noise, it could be a blown fuse or a faulty pump motor. But honestly, messing with the wiring or pump without proper tools might cause more problems. Save yourself the headache and bring it to a workshop. It might be a simple fix, but let them diagnose it properly.

I took your suggestion and went to a local garage. Turns out, the pump motor had failed. It was a quick replacement and cost me 25€, including the part and labor. The 'Washer fluid low' warning is now gone, and the washer system works perfectly again!

Interesting. Sometimes those sensors get wonky. Did you check the float inside the reservoir? They can get stuck and give false readings. Also, is the fluid actually spraying when you try to use the washers, or is there just nothing happening?
