CMAX Windshield Wipers Faulty
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Ford CMAX with a diesel engine has faulty windshield wipers, with an error indicating a wiper motor issue. The fuse box was checked, and no blown fuses were found. A possible cause could be a defective wiring harness around the steering column or issues with the rain sensor. The solution involved fixing a loose connection in the wiring harness, which resolved the problem.

Thanks! Where exactly should I be looking on the steering column? I'm not very experienced with car electrics, and yes, I do have a rain sensor.

The issue with my car was eventually confirmed to be on the wiring harness of the steering column. If you aren't confident fixing it yourself, take it to a workshop. It shouldn't be too expensive. My repair cost about 95€.

Thanks! I took your advice and went to the workshop; they found a loose connection in the wiring harness, just like you suggested. It's sorted now!

I had a similar issue with my CMAX. Check the wiring harness around the steering column. The cable or plug connection might be defective. Does your car have a rain sensor? That could also be involved.
