Thanks! I'll check the battery connections more closely. Which warning lights are you thinking of specifically? And could bad connections really stop it from starting completely?

Yeah, definitely check those connections. Even a slightly loose connection can prevent the car from starting. As for lights, the check engine light, or any battery-related lights, would be a clue. If it's none of those, then it might need proper diagnostics at a workshop.

You were right, it was the battery cable connections! Cleaned them up and tightened them, and it started right away. Cost me 155€ at the workshop. Thanks for the help!

Hmm, engine won't start, eh? Have you checked your battery cable connections? A loose or corroded connection can cause all sorts of weird issues that can mimic an ECU problem. Also, are there any warning lights on the dashboard?
