The check engine light stays on all the time. I haven't really felt any hesitation when accelerating, but the rough idling is definitely there. Does that sound like what you experienced?

Yeah, that's pretty much what I went through. With the light always on and the idling issue, you might want to get a mechanic to look at it. The repair set me back around 95€.

I had a similar problem with my Cobalt. Was the check engine light always on, or did it come and go? Did you feel any changes in how the engine ran, like it hesitating when you accelerated?
