I haven't checked for refrigerant leaks specifically. The truck has 203431 km. Is it more likely to be a leak or the compressor itself?

Given the mileage, it could be either, but my issue turned out to be a defective air conditioning control unit, eventually leading to compressor failure. Considering all the symptoms, including the error code and warning light, I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed by a trusted workshop. It cost me about 980€ to repair.

Thanks for the info. I'll take it to a workshop to get checked. Sounds like the control unit could be the culprit.

I had a similar problem with my Colorado. The symptoms sound very familiar. Did you check for refrigerant leaks? A faulty AC compressor could also cause these issues. How many kilometers are on your truck?
