Hey, I've got a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado with a diesel engine that's giving me headaches. Just hit 138281 km. The doors won't lock or unlock anymore. I'm guessing it's a faulty door contact signal, probably a bad cable or plug. Anyone else seen this?

I had something similar happen with my Colorado. Is your car alarm going off randomly, or is the door sensor light staying on even when the doors are closed? Might be a problem with the door latch itself, which could affect the vehicle doors and the car sensor readings.

Good shout - no random alarms. But how would the door latch affect the central locking? Is that a common fault?

Yeah, on mine, the faulty latch was messing with everything. It seems the whole system is interconnected. I'd say it's worth getting it checked at a workshop. Could save you a lot of guesswork and potential further issues down the line.
