Colorado GPS Reception Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is experiencing a GPS reception fault, with the navigation system indicating no GPS reception and a fault stored in the error memory. The suspected cause is a defective GPS antenna. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by replacing the antenna, suggesting that checking and potentially replacing the GPS antenna at a workshop might be a viable solution.

Interference, huh? I hadn't noticed anything specific like that before it went out. It just stopped working one day. Did you manage to solve the problem yourself, or what did you end up doing?

No, I couldn't fix it myself, unfortunately. I'm not really that experienced with car electronics. I ended up taking it to the workshop. They checked the GPS module and the antenna, and it turned out to be a defective antenna. The weird thing is, there was no visible damage! They replaced it, and all was good again. My advice would be to check it at a workshop.

Alright, thanks for the tip! I'll get it checked out at a shop and report back! Sounds like the antenna is a good place to start looking.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my 2018 Volvo XC60. The GPS was totally dead. Was there any interference with the signal before it went out completely? I am asking because that was the case with my Volvo.
