Coolant Loss in V Klasse Diesel

My 2003 Mercedes V Klasse diesel is losing coolant I've checked for leaks but found nothing obvious Could a faulty water pump be the cause

Coolant loss can be tricky Is the loss gradual or rapid Pressure test the system A leak can sometimes be hard to spot until the system is under pressure Also check for coolant in the oil a blown head gasket can cause coolant loss without external leaks Is there any white smoke coming from the exhaust

The coolant loss seems gradual I haven't seen any white smoke Could you explain the pressure test procedure I'm not sure how to check for coolant in the oil or what it looks like

A pressure test uses a tool to pressurize the cooling system and watch for pressure drops indicating a leak For coolant in the oil check the dipstick Milky or light brown oil instead of its normal dark color could mean contamination The error code might mean a sensor related to the coolant system is malfunctioning and triggering a false low coolant warning A workshop visit for a thorough diagnosis might be best the electrical issue could be hiding the real problem

I took the vehicle to a workshop and they did a pressure test finding a small leak in a radiator hose They also found a faulty coolant level sensor causing the error code Replacing the hose and sensor fixed it Thanks for the help
