Hey, sure, no problem. So the final bill for the repair of the air conditioning control panel or the control unit came to €880. It was a nice chunk of money, but what don't you do for your car, right? And to answer your question - I haven't had any more problems since the visit to the mechanic. The defect in the refrigerant compressor that you mentioned was also fixed for me and since then everything has been running smoothly again. The air conditioning cools as it did on the first day and the heating also works perfectly. So don't let it get you down and make sure you quickly find a good workshop that can deal with your problem. Good luck! Greetings back!

Hey, I really appreciate your detailed reply. 880€ is a lot of money, but if it ultimately results in everything working properly again, it's certainly money well spent. Your positive experience reassures me a little and I will take your advice and get my car into a garage as soon as possible. Hopefully I'll be lucky and find a trustworthy garage that can help me. Wish you no further problems with your car and a safe journey! Thank you and best regards!

Hey, I had a very similar problem with my 2013 Opel Movano. The air conditioning control unit was defective (control unit) was the main problem. My air conditioning wasn't running cold and the heating wasn't working properly either. The fault was diagnosed fairly quickly by the mechanic after I described exactly these symptoms to him. So I don't want to worry you, but it was definitely a serious problem. The repairs were pretty involved and had to be done in the workshop. It wasn't a simple replacement of parts, but more of a complete replacement of the ECU. Allegedly some of the wiring and electronics were damaged. But don't be put off, every car is different and maybe your problem isn't that big. So, my advice to you is to take the car to a garage as soon as possible and get it checked. Good luck!
