Corolla auto temperature control malfunction

Having issues with my 2016 Toyota Corolla diesel. The automatic temperature control isn't working. There's an error stored, and the AC won't switch on. I'm thinking it's a faulty interior temperature sensor, maybe a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

Hey, I had something similar happen in my Corolla. Drove me nuts for a while. Is the temperature reading all over the place, or just totally dead?

The temperature reading seems completely unresponsive. It's stuck, no matter the actual temperature inside. What was your problem exactly?

Yep, sounds exactly like what I had. Turned out to be a bad connection on the sensor. Honestly, save yourself the headache and just take it to a workshop. Those HVAC sensors can be a pain to get to.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop. The repair bill was 95€. It was the cable connection of the temperature sensor, like you said.
