A system diagnosis was performed and confirmed the additional battery alarm system failure, which they attributed to the battery. What was the extent of the damage on your Opel?

Ah, I see. With my Insignia, it ended up being a complete battery failure, triggering a cascade of warning lights and system malfunctions. Considering the diagnosis, and the age of your Corolla's battery, I would suggest visiting a workshop to replace the auxiliary battery.

Thanks for the insight! I took your advice and got the auxiliary battery replaced. The error is now gone, and the alarm system works again. The whole job cost me 330€. Appreciate the help!

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar electrical issue with my 2019 Opel Insignia. The symptoms were different, but the root cause was also a battery issue. Was a system diagnosis performed, or have you checked the car battery voltage?
