Corolla GPS Navigation Failure

Hey, I've got a 2014 Toyota Corolla with a gasoline engine and about 80,000 km on it. Recently, the navigation system is throwing an error and can't seem to pick up any GPS signal. The error memory has a corresponding entry. I'm thinking it might be the GPS antenna itself. Anyone else run into this?

I had a similar problem with my Corolla a while back. No GPS reception all of a sudden. Have you checked the antenna connection? It might be loose.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the GPS antenna located? I want to check the connection before I start replacing parts.

On my car, it was under the dash, near the windshield. But honestly, if you're getting an error code and still have no luck, it's probably the antenna itself. A workshop visit might be the easiest way to fix it.

Thanks! I took it to the workshop like you suggested. Turns out the GPS antenna was defective. Cost me about 200€ to replace. All good now!
