Corolla Headlight Range Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Toyota Corolla owner experienced a headlight issue where the low beam was misaligned, accompanied by a warning light and stored error. The problem was suspected to be related to the servomotor, though an auto-leveling sensor fault was also considered. After consulting a mechanic, it was confirmed that the servomotor was defective, leading to its replacement.

The beam adjusts automatically, and I haven't touched the switch. Could a faulty auto-leveling sensor cause this before I replace the servomotor?

Auto-leveling sensor issues are possible, but the servomotor is usually the problem. Given the error codes, I’d still guess the motor. But get it checked before you start buying parts.

Took it to my mechanic, and it was a defective servomotor. Total cost was 1040€. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!

Sounds familiar. Is the beam adjustment automatic, or did you mess with the headlight switch or control module?
