Thanks! There's no noise from the motor when I try the switch. I checked the fuse, and it looks okay. Where would I apply lubricant?

A silent sunblind points to the motor being dead, like a lightbulb. You could try spraying silicone lubricant into the tracks, but it's probably a waste of time if the motor is dead. Honestly, I think you're best off taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose the motor.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to a workshop. They quoted 330€ to replace the sun blind motor.

Sounds frustrating! Is it making any noise when you try to operate it, like a grinding or whirring sound? Sometimes it's just lubrication. Have you checked the fuse box? A blown fuse would be a much simpler fix.
