Corsa ABS Failure

My 2023 Vauxhall Corsa Electric is showing an ABS lamp, resulting in ABS failure and a stored error. Mileage is 241226 km. Is a defective lateral acceleration sensor control unit the likely cause?

Sounds familiar! Had similar ABS and stability control issues with my old Volvo V40. Did you check the wheel alignment or steering angle? Any recent bumps or knocks to the suspension?

Wheel alignment seems fine. Steering angle appears normal. No recent incidents that I'm aware of. Was your Volvo's issue also a faulty lateral sensor?

Yep, turned out to be the lateral sensor. After checking everything else, the workshop confirmed that the control unit was faulty. Best get it checked out professionally.
