Corsa AC not engaging

I'm having issues with my 2014 Vauxhall Corsa diesel. The diagnostic system reports a defective temperature sensor heat exchanger, with an error in the memory and on the speedometer. The AC won't engage. Could this be the AC control unit? I've checked for coolant leaks, but everything seems fine. Any ideas?

Sounds like a pain. Have you checked the sensor calibration?

Could you elaborate on which sensor and the procedure for checking its calibration? I want to be sure I'm addressing the correct component.

Yeah, the heat exchanger temp sensor. Honestly, with those symptoms, it's probably the AC control unit. Save yourself the headache and get it checked by a pro.

I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. The AC control unit was the problem and was replaced. The repair cost 980€. Thanks for the help!
