Corsa Central Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system on a 2022 electric Corsa stopped working, with neither the key fob nor the interior switch functioning. Diagnostics indicated an error, leading to the suspicion of a bad cable or plug. After ruling out the key fob battery and alarm issues, it was advised to seek professional help to avoid further damage. The problem was confirmed to be a defective connector in the central locking system, which was repaired at a service center.

I replaced the key fob battery already, and the alarm seems fine. Any other ideas before I dig deeper?

With the fob battery and alarm ruled out, it sounds more serious. Given the error code and your suspicion of a cable or plug issue, I'd advise against further self-diagnosis. Modern systems are sensitive, and you could cause more damage. A reputable workshop seems wisest.

Took it to a Vauxhall service center. It was a defective connector in the central locking system, as suspected. Repair was 95€. Thanks; your advice saved me from making things worse.

That sounds inconvenient! Have you checked the key fob battery? I had a similar issue once. Also, is the car alarm going off randomly, or is it behaving normally? A faulty alarm can interfere with the central locking.
