Corsa diesel high fuel consumption poor start

I'm experiencing issues with my 2019 Vauxhall Corsa diesel. It has about 97560 km on the clock. I've noticed higher fuel consumption lately, and the vehicle starts poorly. Could this be related to a defective throttle valve? I've been reading about cleaning the throttle body, but I'm unsure if that's the right approach.

I also drive a Corsa diesel, and your symptoms sound familiar. Check your accelerator pedal module. A defective pedal position sensor can definitely mess with the air intake and fuel efficiency. Any issues there?

It's not straightforward to diagnose without proper tools. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. I had similar symptoms, and it turned out to be the module indeed.

You were right! Took it to the shop, and they confirmed it was a defective accelerator pedal module. Repair cost me 205€ Thanks for the help!
