Thanks for the quick reply! The error seems to be consistently present. Could you elaborate on which relay switch I should be checking?

Okay, a consistent error points more directly to a wiring issue. My Volvo issue turned out to be corrosion on a connector. As for the relay switch, without a wiring diagram, poking around is risky. Best bet is workshop time. They can pinpoint the exact location, and the fix shouldn't be too expensive.

Appreciate the advice! Took it to the workshop, and you nailed it. It was indeed a corroded connector on the ignition circuit, causing a voltage drop. Replaced the connector, and now it's working perfectly. Total cost: 95€.

Sounds like a circuit break! I had similar issues in my old Volvo. Check for any voltage drop at the battery terminal and rule out a faulty relay switch in the power supply. A defective connection will prevent the engine from starting. Is the error always present, or is it intermittent?
