Corsa Electric Lighting Fault

Cheers for the reply. Fuse box, eh? Is there a separate fuse for the headlights and the main lighting circuit? And where should I be looking for a corroded connection? Near the switch itself, or closer to the lights?

It's worth investigating the fuses - consult your owner's manual for the specific fuse allocation for your Corsa. Regarding the corrosion, check all the connections related to the light switch and then also look at the headlight connectors themselves. Given the symptoms, the error codes, and the mileage, it seems likely it's the switch or associated connections. You may want to get it checked out at a local workshop; it could require specialist tools to diagnose and repair properly.

I'll check the fuses and give the connections a good look this weekend. If that doesn't solve it, I'll book it in with a local garage. It ended up being the light switch after all, as you said. Cost me 95€, not too bad, but I'm just glad to have it sorted!

I had a similar issue on my Corsa, although it's not electric. The symptoms sound like a faulty light switch or a related wiring problem. The error codes point towards a defect in the lighting system's cable or plug connections. Have you checked the fuse box? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause this, or perhaps a corroded connection?
