Corsa Electrical Malfunctions

Yes, the starting is hesitant. I did notice the headlights flickering a couple of times. Are you saying it was definitely the auxiliary battery in your case? And were the error messages the same?

Yes. The flickering headlights and hesitant start are indicative of auxiliary power supply deficiency. Consider the auxiliary battery as the conductor of an orchestra; when it falters, the entire electrical system performs erratically. While I am reasonably confident, I suggest a professional diagnostic evaluation at a reputable workshop. Erroneous self-diagnosis can be costly. Ensure that the charging circuit is also functioning as designed. In my case, a full battery replacement did the trick. The expense was 290€, and my Corsa runs like new.

Thanks for confirming. I appreciate the detailed explanation. I'll take it to a workshop and get the auxiliary battery checked and most likely replaced. Seems like the easiest solution, and the price seems reasonable.

This sounds awfully familiar. I have a Corsa Electric too, although not the same year, and went through something similar not too long ago. Is it like when you try to start the car and it hesitates before finally kicking in? Also, are your headlights dimmer than usual, perhaps flickering slightly? What about the internal lights? It's all connected, you see.
