Thanks for sharing that! Mine's showing similar symptoms with 76551 KM on the clock. The last service was about 2 months ago, and everything was fine until last week. I've noticed it's actually worse when the engine's warm, especially in stop-and-go traffic. The jerking gets really bad about 10-15 minutes into driving. I'm gonna take it to the garage tomorrow, your throttle body tip sounds spot-on given the symptoms. Did you notice any warning signs before it completely acted up? Just wondering if I missed something earlier that could've warned me about this.

Hey again! Yeah, thinking back to my Astra's issues, I definitely noticed some warning signs before it got really bad. About a month before everything went haywire, I started getting this slight hesitation when pressing the accelerator, like a tiny delay before the car would respond. I kind of brushed it off at first (bad move, I know). Mine also had around 80K kilometers when it happened, so pretty similar to your situation. The warm engine symptoms you're describing are exactly what I experienced, that jerking in stop-and-go traffic was super annoying. I remember sitting at traffic lights thinking "please don't stall, please don't stall". Looking back, I should've acted sooner when I noticed the fuel consumption creeping up. Was filling up way more often than usual, probably about 2-3 weeks before the other symptoms got really obvious. The throttle body replacement sorted everything out though, honestly felt like a different car afterward. Quick heads up, when they replace it, they'll probably need to do a computer reset/adaptation. My mechanic explained this is super important for these engines. Make sure they include that in the service. Let me know how it goes at the garage tomorrow!

Thanks so much for all the detailed info! It's really helpful knowing that you had such similar issues, especially the part about the hesitation and fuel consumption. Come to think of it, I did notice my car being a bit sluggish to respond about three weeks ago, but like you, I just ignored it (guess we both learned that lesson!). I'll definitely mention the computer reset thing to my mechanic tomorrow, wouldn't have known about that otherwise. Really hoping it's just the throttle body and nothing more serious. I'll update you once I get it checked out. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience, it's made me feel a lot more confident about what to expect!

Hey there! I had a super similar issue with my 2012 Vauxhall Astra 1.4L. The symptoms were exactly like what you're describing, rough running, jerking, and that annoying check engine light. Turned out the throttle valve's internals were shot. Took it to my regular workshop, and they diagnosed it right away. Had to replace the whole throttle body assembly, set me back about 345€ but fixed all the problems. Car's been running smooth as silk since then. Quick question though, what engine code does your Corsa have? Also, have you noticed if the problems get worse when the engine's warm or cold? This info would help me share more specific details about my experience. Worth getting it checked ASAP, these issues usually don't fix themselves and can cause more damage if left alone. Hope this helps!
