Corsa Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor Fault

My 2019 Vauxhall Corsa, gasoline engine, has developed a fault at 133977 km. A warning light is on, and I've observed smoke during acceleration. I suspect an exhaust back pressure sensor malfunction. Has anyone experienced this?

Smoke and a warning light? Sounds nasty! I had a similar problem with my Corsa. It drove me nuts for weeks. Was the car down on power at all? Did you try cleaning the sensor or anything?

I haven't tried cleaning the sensor yet. I wanted to gather more information first. Could you provide more details about the symptoms you experienced with your Corsa?

Yeah, mine was sluggish as hell, especially uphill. It sounds like your back pressure sensor is probably toast. I'd say get it checked out at a workshop ASAP before it causes more damage. I was lucky; it could've been worse!

I appreciate your help. I took the vehicle to a local workshop. The exhaust back pressure sensor was indeed defective, and the repair cost 245€. The issue is now resolved.
