Corsa Outside Temperature Sensor Fault

My 2006 Vauxhall Corsa (gasoline engine) is having issues. The outside temperature sensor seems faulty. I'm getting an error code, the AC won't switch on, the windscreen spray nozzles keep freezing, and even the mirror heating isn't working! I suspect a dodgy cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a similar issue with my Corsa. Same symptoms too - AC not working and the frozen spray nozzles were a real pain! Have you checked the sensor itself? On mine, the connector was corroded. Might be worth a look before ripping out the whole dashboard.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the sensor located on the Corsa? And how easy is it to get to the connector? I'm not exactly a mechanic, but I'm willing to have a go if it's straightforward.

On mine, it was behind the front bumper, near the fog light. It's a bit fiddly to get to, you might need to remove a few screws and clips. Honestly, if you're not comfortable, it might be best to take it to a workshop. I ended up doing that myself as I didn't want to break anything.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I think I'll take it to a garage. They quoted me about 95€ to sort it out, which seems reasonable. Hopefully, it'll fix all the problems!
