Corsa rough idle and error code
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Vauxhall Corsa with low mileage is experiencing rough idle and an error code, suspected to be due to a faulty connection, possibly related to the engine mount. The increased vibration suggests a defective rubber mount or connection. The recommended solution is to have it checked by a professional, which confirmed the issue as an engine mount problem with a defective cable or plug connection, leading to a successful repair.

Yeah, it is vibrating quite a bit more than usual. How easy is it to check the rubber mount and the connection myself? Is it something I can do with basic tools?

Honestly, while you could try checking it yourself, with the error code and the increased vibration, it's probably best to get it checked out by a workshop. It does sound like the engine mount, and if the cable or plug connection is the issue, they'll be able to sort it quickly and safely.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a local garage and you were spot on - engine mount issue. They said the cable or plug connection was defective. Cost me 95€ to fix, but it's running smooth as anything now!

I had something similar with my Corsa, although I didn't get an error code at first. The uneven idling sounds familiar. Check the rubber mount on your engine mount. If the connection is defective, that could cause the error you are seeing. Is it vibrating more than usual?
