Whoa, sounds like my Corsa last year! It's like when your phone loses its Wi-Fi signal, but instead of cat videos, it's your car screaming for help. Check the connections like the original poster says, my bet is it is a bad cable or connection. Where did you read about the siren communication fault?

Sadly, I can't give you an exact location, but I had it checked out. If I remember correctly, the mechanic was saying it could also be the siren itself? Maybe get it checked at a workshop, I ended up paying 95€ for the repair
