Corsa Turn Signal Error

Alright, so my 2010 Vauxhall Corsa diesel is throwing a fit. Keep getting a 'turn signal lamp defective' error popping up on the speedometer, and it's obviously a fault in the lighting. I've checked the bulbs, but no luck. Error's stored in the memory too, apparently. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar gremlin with my old Renault Megane. Turned out to be a corroded connector. The wiring harness was acting like a dodgy switch, giving intermittent signals. Worth checking the connections before diving into deeper diagnostics.

Interesting. You mean like, pull apart the connector and check for corrosion or loose wires? Is there a specific spot on the Corsa that's known to be a problem area, like near the headlight assembly?

Exactly. Think of it like a rusty pipe – the signal can't flow properly. On the Megane, it was near the indicator stalk. Since the error is stored, it is probably more than just a blown bulb. You should take it to a workshop.

Good shout. Took it to the shop; turns out it was indeed a defective cable/plug connection, just like you said. They charged me 95€ to sort it. Thanks for the help!
