Corsa water sensor fault

Thanks. I checked the connector and wiring, but I didn't see any corrosion or damage. The rough running isn't constant. What caused the problem with your Corsa in the end?

Ah, intermittent problems are the worst! In my case, it turned out to be a faulty water sensor. The garage figured it out pretty quickly. Think of it like a leaky faucet – sometimes it drips, sometimes it doesn't, but eventually, you have to replace the whole thing. Given your symptoms and the intermittent nature, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop for proper diagnostics. It could save you a lot of headaches. I ended up paying around 95€ for the sensor replacement.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, as you suggested. The final repair cost was 95€, the water sensor was replaced and the electrical connection was repaired. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Sounds familiar! I had something similar with my Corsa, although I didn't check the error memory. Rough running and the check engine light were my clues. Have you checked the sensor's connector for corrosion or damage? It's often the simplest things, like a loose connection, that cause these issues. Is the rough running constant, or does it come and go?
