Corsa Windshield Washer Heater Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Vauxhall Corsa is experiencing issues with the windshield washer heater, leading to error codes and frozen spray nozzles in cold weather. The washer fluid level and fuses have been checked without finding any obvious problems. A possible cause suggested is a faulty connection to the heater element, which may be located near the base of the washer fluid reservoir. Checking for corrosion or loose wires is recommended, but consulting a mechanic might be necessary if the issue persists.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is the heater element located? I had a quick look, but couldn't pinpoint it. Any tips on what to look for in terms of a 'dodgy connection'?

Okay, on my Peugeot, the heater element was near the base of the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Look for any obvious signs of corrosion, loose wires, or anything that looks out of place. Honestly, though, if you're not comfortable fiddling with it, it might be worth getting a mechanic to take a look. Could save you a headache!

Appreciate the advice! I'll have another poke around, but if I can't find anything obvious, I'll book it in at the local garage. They quoted me 95€ for fixing the cable or plug. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot a while back. Same symptoms – error code and frozen nozzles. In my case, it turned out to be a dodgy connection. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the heater element itself?
