Corvette engine mount sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Chevrolet Corvette was experiencing uneven idling and error codes, suspected to be caused by a defective engine mount. Initial inspection pointed to a possible defective cable or plug connection to the mount. After further investigation and advice, it was confirmed that the issue was indeed a faulty sensor connection on the engine mount, which was resolved by repairing the connection.

Good point about the engine movement. I'll check that more closely. You mentioned it being familiar; was the defective cable or plug connection you found also the culprit in your case or something else entirely?

Yes, exactly that! Inspect the mount and mounting bracket closely for defects. I also recommend having a workshop verify the issue with the cable. My workshop confirmed the defective engine mount issue which eventually solved the rough idling.

Appreciate the confirmation and advice. It ended up being a faulty sensor connection on the engine mount, just as you suspected. 95€ and the issue is now solved. Thanks again!

That sounds familiar! I have a Corvette too. I had similar symptoms – engine feeling rough at idle and eventually an error code popped up. Have you checked for excessive engine movement when revving the engine slightly? That can be a telltale sign of mount wear. It could also be related to the transmission mount, creating vibration issues throughout the car.
