That’s interesting! I hadn't thought of that. When you had the issue, did the diagnostics point to a particular cylinder or coil pack? What was your mileage then?

Yes, the diagnostics indicated a misfire on a specific cylinder, which led us to the coil pack. I don't recall the exact mileage, but it was similar to yours, I suspect. Given the symptoms and potential damage, have a mechanic run a full diagnostic to pinpoint the faulty coil before you proceed. You could cause expensive damage!

Thanks for the suggestion and caution! I took your advice and had a diagnostic done. It was a defective ignition coil, and the cable connection was faulty. The repair cost me 95€. Everything runs smoothly now!

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Corvette: rough running, stalling, and the check engine light. Have you checked your ignition coils? A faulty coil pack can cause misfires and those symptoms. Try unplugging each coil, one at a time, while the engine is running, and listen for a change in how it runs.
