Corvette throttle valve issue

I'm having some trouble with my 2021 Chevrolet Corvette, gasoline engine. I'm experiencing higher fuel consumption and the vehicle has started to start poorly. After running some diagnostics, it seems the throttle valve is defective, likely due to a defective accelerator pedal module. Has anyone else encountered this? Mileage is at 162575 km.

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Chevrolet Corvette is experiencing higher fuel consumption and poor starting, with diagnostics indicating a defective throttle valve, likely due to a faulty accelerator pedal module. The engine idle is rough, and throttle position readings are erratic. A similar issue was resolved by addressing the control valve, and a workshop visit confirmed the accelerator pedal module as the cause, leading to a repair.

I had a similar issue with my Corvette. Symptoms sound familiar. Was the engine idle also affected? What about the throttle position readings?

Yes, the engine idle is definitely rougher than usual. As for the throttle position, it seems erratic. Did you also suspect the control valve?

Control valve was indeed the culprit. Given your symptoms and the throttle position issue, a visit to a workshop is probably a good idea.

Thanks for confirming, I appreciate it. I've booked it in, and it turns out the defective accelerator pedal module caused it. Repair cost came to around 205€.
