CR V Hybrid Interrupted Terminal Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid with 214,427 km is experiencing poor starting due to an interrupted Terminal 30 continuous plus issue. The initial suspicion is a heavily discharged or defective battery, but further investigation reveals the problem may lie deeper in the electrical system. A professional diagnosis identifies a faulty connection related to the hybrid system's power distribution as the root cause, leading to a successful repair.

Thanks for the quick reply! When you say 'faulty power supply connection,' are you referring to the connection at the battery itself, or somewhere else in the electrical system? I've cleaned the battery terminals, but the issue persists. Any specific areas I should focus on?

Yes, initially I thought it was the battery connection too, but it was deeper in the electrical system. Given the complexity and the potential for further electrical fault, I strongly suggest getting it checked by a professional. It could save you from causing more damage or misdiagnosing the root cause. It is annoying, but worth it in the long run.

Thanks so much for the advice! I took your suggestion and brought it to a workshop. Turns out, it was indeed a deeper electrical issue, but specifically a faulty connection related to the hybrid system's power distribution. The repair cost me around 290€, but at least it's finally resolved.

Wow, that sounds eerily familiar! I have a CR-V Hybrid as well, and I experienced something similar a while back. The 'vehicle start poorly' symptom rings a bell. In my case, it turned out to be related to a faulty power supply connection, which was causing intermittent power interruptions. Did you check the starter motor? Perhaps the circuit breaker could also be the culprit. It's worth a look.
