CR Z damping adjustment error
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Honda CR Z hybrid is experiencing a damping adjustment error, indicated by a warning light and a bumpy ride. The issue is likely related to the active damper system, which adjusts the damping force of the shocks. A faulty connection is suspected as the cause. The recommended solution is a professional inspection, which ultimately confirms a dodgy connection as the problem.

Good call on the damper system, I thought that was just for sports cars. It feels consistently bumpy now. Where are the connections typically located that I could check myself?

Okay, consistently bumpy points towards an electrical issue, rather than a mechanical failure within the damper itself. Given that a faulty cable or plug connection could be the culprit, as indicated by the error code and symptoms you describe, I would suggest a professional inspection. If you aren't comfortable with electrical diagnostics and the suspension system, it might be best to leave it to the pros. Messing with the suspension can be risky.

Cheers for the heads-up. Ended up taking it to the workshop; it was a dodgy connection, just like you said! Cost me 95€ to sort. Appreciate the advice!

I've seen similar things happen with other vehicles. The error code likely relates to the active damper system. Is it consistently bumpy, or does it seem to change sometimes? The active damper system adjusts the damping force of your shocks, trying to smooth out the ride. Could be a faulty connection somewhere.
