Creta MOST bus fault
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Hyundai Creta owner experienced a MOST bus fault, resulting in a non-functional audio system and navigation. Diagnostics indicated a potential control unit error. Another Creta owner suggested checking connections, but ultimately, the issue was confirmed to be a faulty control unit on the MOST bus. The recommended solution was to have a qualified technician diagnose and repair the problem, which was confirmed and repaired at a workshop.

Could you elaborate on the specific connections you are referring to? I'm not familiar with the MOST bus architecture and would appreciate any guidance.

In my case, it turned out to be a faulty control unit on the MOST bus itself. Sadly, checking the connections didn't solve it. It really does sound like you may have the same issue. I would suggest taking it to a workshop to diagnose it properly. It's a complex system, and you could end up making it worse without the proper tools and knowledge.

I appreciate the advice. I suspected as much. I will schedule an appointment with a qualified technician to assess the control units. The workshop confirmed the defect to one of the units. The repair cost amounted to approximately 1000€.

I own a Creta and faced something similar. No sound, nav system dead... Sounded like a MOST bus problem to me, too. Did you check any of the connections? It could save you a lot of time and money.
