Creta power window failure after battery replacement
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2018 Hyundai Creta, the power windows stopped functioning, and an error code appeared. This issue may be related to the need for re-initializing the window regulators. A basic reset procedure involving holding the window switch did not resolve the problem. It is suggested to visit a workshop where a diagnostic tool can be used to properly re-initialize the window regulators.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thank you for your suggestion. I attempted that procedure, but unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue. The error remains. Was the behavior you observed identical, and did the reset procedure work for you eventually?

Ah, so it's being stubborn then. Mine was exactly the same - holding the switch didn't do anything. Eventually, I had to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly, but they did mention something about needing to use their diagnostic tool to properly re-initialize the window regulators. Probably best to get it checked out professionally before you start pulling door panels off yourself!

I appreciate the confirmation and advice. Based on your experience, it seems a workshop visit is the most prudent course of action. The repair cost was 290€. Thank you again.

Sounds familiar. I've got a Creta too. After my battery died, my power windows went haywire. Have you tried the basic reset procedure? Sometimes holding the window switch down for a few seconds after it's fully down, then holding it up after it's fully up, can do the trick. Did you try this?
