Yeah, the booster was a waste of money, honestly. Made no difference. My mechanic said the whole antenna unit was faulty. Best bet is to get it checked out properly at a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. A workshop visit seemed best. I went to the mechanic today. After replacing the defective antenna the error disappeared and the radio now works again. The final repair cost was 255€.

I had the same problem on my Creta. Does it sound like static noise? I tried an antenna booster, but it didn't help much. Did you check the antenna ground?
