Crider cold start injector issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Honda Crider with 239,958 km was experiencing difficulty starting, particularly when the engine was cold, and ran roughly during initial cold starts. The issue was suspected to be related to a faulty cold start injector. After taking the car to a workshop, tests confirmed a defective injector, which was then replaced, resolving the problem.

An injector test, you say? That's interesting. What exactly did you find out when you had the test done on your Astra? Was it a simple cleaning job, or something more involved?

Well, after the test, it turned out the injectors were indeed faulty. The garage advised against cleaning and recommended replacement as the best long-term solution. Based on your description, it might be worth getting it checked out by a professional. It might be above my level of advice.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I appreciate the insight. I decided to take it to a workshop, and you were spot on! They ran some tests and confirmed a defective injector. The repair, including parts and labor, came to 515€. Now it runs like a dream.

That sounds frustrating. I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra, though mine was a 2012 model. The symptoms sound pretty similar. Have you considered getting an injector test done? I'm not sure if it will help, but could be related to a fuel delivery problem. Did you experience that too?
