Interesting. Where exactly is the electric actuator located, and is it easy to access? I'm wondering if it's something I can check myself before taking it to a workshop.

On my Astra, it was behind the trim in the rear fender area, near the fuel filler. Access might be a bit fiddly, but doable with basic tools. Since you have a hybrid, I would not touch it personally. Get it checked out by a shop, just to be safe.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to the workshop today. Turns out it was indeed the electric actuator, like you suspected. The repair cost me 210€. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra, but it was the electric actuator that failed. Check the wiring and the actuator itself. It might be a simple fix, or you might need a new actuator. I have had the same symptoms: 'Error stored in the error memory', 'Locking or unlocking the fuel filler flap is no longer possible', 'Some functions of the vehicle are not available'
