Crider hybrid rough running fuel pressure sensor
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Honda Crider hybrid was experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The initial suspicion was a faulty fuel pressure sensor or a bad connection. After consulting with a workshop, it was confirmed that the issue was indeed the fuel pressure sensor and a problematic plug connection, which were both repaired, resolving the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! It seems to happen more when the engine is warm, especially after it's been running for a while. Does that change your diagnosis at all?

Okay, warm engine issues strengthen the sensor/connection suspicion even more. You could try checking the connection yourself, but given the mileage, the sensor itself might be failing due to age and heat exposure. Honestly, without diagnostic tools, you're just guessing. Given the symptoms and potential risk of misdiagnosis, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the fuel system.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and you were right, it was indeed the fuel pressure sensor and a dodgy plug connection. They replaced the sensor and fixed the connection for 95€. Runs like new now!

Hey, the symptoms you describe definitely point towards a fuel delivery issue. A defective fuel pressure sensor is a strong possibility. Think of it like this: the sensor is the messenger, and if the cable or plug isn't properly connected, the message gets garbled. Does the rough running and stalling happen more when the engine is cold or hot? Knowing this could narrow things down.
