Crider TPMS sensor malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Honda Crider owner is experiencing a persistent 'tire pressure too low' warning and a related fault code, despite maintaining correct tire pressure. This suggests a potential TPMS sensor malfunction, possibly due to a depleted sensor battery. The recommended solution is to consult a workshop for diagnosis and sensor replacement, which was confirmed as the issue and resolved by replacing the sensor.

I have not checked the sensor batteries directly, assuming that it would require special tools. Is there a way to confirm that a depleted sensor battery is the root cause without dismantling everything?

Unfortunately, without specialized diagnostic tools, it is quite difficult to definitively confirm a depleted sensor battery. Given the symptoms and your attempts to resolve the issue, it's likely the sensor needs replacing. It's best to consult a workshop.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I had the car checked at a local workshop, and as suspected, the tire pressure sensor battery was indeed the issue. The repair, including sensor replacement, cost me 280€. I appreciate your help!

That does sound like a TPMS issue. Have you checked the sensor batteries? Those sensors usually only last for a while.
