Yeah, you nailed it! Rough idling is definitely part of the problem. So, it really was the intake air temperature sensor for you too? What was the fix in your case?

Yep, for me it was the intake air temperature sensor 100%! I'm no mechanic but I reckon yours sounds exactly the same. Honestly, I’d get it to a workshop. They can confirm it properly and get it sorted. It's probably cheaper in the long run!

Thanks! I took your advice and went to a workshop. Turns out you were spot on – it was indeed the intake air temperature sensor. They replaced it, and everything is running smoothly now. Cost me 155€ all in. Appreciate the help!

That sounds familiar! I've got a Croma too, and had the exact same symptoms a while back. Check engine light, sluggish performance. Was it also rough idling?
