Thanks! When you say 'component', are you referring to the flap actuator itself, or something else? I had a quick look at the plug, but I didn't pull it apart to check for corrosion. Maybe that's the next step.

Yes, I am alluding specifically to the flap actuator governing the rear ventilation. In my circumstance, the fault was traced to a compromised electrical connection. Given the potential intricacies involved, I would recommend entrusting the vehicle to a qualified automotive workshop for a comprehensive evaluation. A trained technician possesses the expertise and specialized tools necessary to conduct thorough diagnostics and effectuate a durable repair.

Appreciate the advice. It was indeed a dodgy connection to the rear flap actuator, like you suggested. They cleaned it up, re-seated the connector, and cleared the code. Air con's working again, and it cost 95X€.

I own a Crossland X and recall a comparable situation. Although I did not experience impaired cooling, I encountered recurring error messages pertaining to the rear ventilation flap within the climate control system. Have you inspected the cable and plug connections associated with the component, ensuring their integrity and secure attachment?
