Crossland X Central Locking and Starting Issue

Hi, I'm having a strange issue with my 2020 Vauxhall Crossland X (gasoline engine). It's done 223779 km. I'm getting an error stored and the central locking is acting up – sometimes it won't unlock or lock properly. Also, I can't start the engine without the key physically in the ignition lock anymore. I've read that it could be a problem with the bumper antenna cable or plug. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

I had a similar issue with my Crossland X. The symptoms you describe sound very familiar. Do you have any aftermarket electronics installed, like a dashcam or a different radio unit? Sometimes these can interfere with the car's antenna system.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a local workshop, and they confirmed it was the bumper antenna. They replaced a faulty connector, and it's all working fine now. Cost me 95€, which I suppose isn't too bad.
