Fuses look okay, but car alarm is a good shout. Where exactly should I be looking for the alarm module and the fuse box related to central locking? Any specific fuses to check?

Honestly, I fiddled for ages and got nowhere. It ended up being a pain. Best bet? Take it to a workshop. They'll sort it quicker than you chasing wires. Mine was a dodgy connection in the end, similar to what you suspected.

Cheers! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. Defective cable/plug connection. Cost me 95€, but at least it's sorted. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I've got a Crossland X too. Had something similar with mine - the central locking went bonkers. Did you check the fuses? Or maybe it's the car alarm playing up? Keyless entry still working?
