Crossland X Engine Mount Failure
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2019 Vauxhall Crossland X was suspected to be a defective engine mount, indicated by uneven engine idling and an error code. Possible causes included a compromised cable or plug connection. Upon further investigation, a defective plug connection was identified as the root cause, leading to engine mount failure. The solution involved replacing and recalibrating the mount, which resolved the problem.

The vibrations are most prominent during acceleration. I haven't thoroughly examined the mounts. Should I focus on a particular area?

Examine the mounts for cracking, tearing, or excessive wear, especially around the rubber. With an error code already flagged, it is difficult to say for sure. I think you should go to the workshop.

A defective plug connection was identified as the root cause, leading to a full mount failure. A replacement and recalibration, costing 95€, has restored equilibrium. Thanks for the help.

I have a Crossland X too and your issue sounds familiar. Did you notice any unusual vibrations when the engine is under load or during acceleration? Check for wear or damage on the engine mounts themselves. Are the vibrations more noticeable at certain speeds or when going over bumps?
