Crossland X Headlight Washer Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Vauxhall Crossland X experienced a fault with both the headlight cleaning and windshield washer systems. The suspected causes were a defective cable connection to the pump or a relay issue. After inspection by a mechanic, the problem was identified as a defective cable connection to the pump, which was then repaired.

Was it a pain to get to the pump on your 308? Did you have to remove much to access it?

Relatively straightforward, but still a bit fiddly. You could probably do it yourself if you're reasonably competent with a wrench, but I just took mine to a local workshop. Quick job for them.

I had a mechanic look at it; cable connection to pump was defective. Cost me 165€ to sort out. Appreciated!

I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot 308. Screen wash stopped working at the same time as the headlight washers. Check the fuses first, but on mine it was a faulty pump.
